The owners of this establishment have put a lot of thought into being environmentally conscious, Transfer Pizzeria Café meets all of the Lake Friendly Business requirements and then some! 

 

Transfer Pizzeria Café gets its name from its location's history, it was once a corner drugstore known as Transfer Pharmacy. Today, you will find over thirty unique varieties of pizza, along with gluten-free and vegan options! Transfer Pizzeria Café also offers other food items, a large bar area, and even live music on select dates. Check them out and help support other Lake Friendly businesses that are working to keep Milwaukee free of single-use plastic pollution!

Celebrate: Rock the Green 11th Annual Earth Day Celebration

Celebrate Earth Day at Rock the Green's 11th Annual Earth Day Celebration! This event will take place at the Harley Davidson Museum on Saturday, April 23rd from 12:00 to 3:00pm. Join Plastic-Free MKE, Milwaukee Riverkeeper, and all of the spring cleanup volunteers in enjoying live music, food and drink, and even a pedal-powered stage! This event is FREE for anyone that would like to attend.

Watch: The Condor & The Eagle

"The Condor & The Eagle" documents the stories of four well-known Native environmental spokespeople who are at the forefront of a perspective shift in the identity of their people, from forgotten voices to powerful and influential leaders. This will be the first in the Environmental and Social Justice Film Series brought to you by The Urban Ecology Center and Milwaukee Riverkeeper and will be held on March 16th from 5:30-6:30pm.
