Rock the Green's 9th Annual Earth Day Celebration

Join Rock the Green for their 9th Annual Earth Day Celebration. This Earth Day Celebration is a FREE event to celebrate volunteer community environmental efforts.

Milwaukee Riverkeeper is proudly hosting its 25th Annual Spring River Cleanup that same day with over 4,000 volunteers joining together across the Milwaukee River Basin to pick up trash, get outdoors, and help to achieve swimmable, fishable rivers. Cleanup volunteers and the community are invited to join the free 9th Annual Rock the Green Earth Day Celebration.

  • A live concert on a pedal-powered stage, with leg power provided by The Velo FemmesBlack Girls Do Bike and Cadence Cycling Milwaukee.

  • Remarks by Mayor Tom Barrett, Jennifer Bolger Breceda of Milwaukee Riverkeeper, Lindsay of Rock the Green and others.

  • Local and sustainable tasty fare available for purchase.

  • Onsite eco-education provided by Rock the Green Eco-Champs, local environmental non-profits and organizations

  • To have a maximum impact of landfill diversion, the event incorporates zero waste production including waste reclamation stations and food served on compostable serving-ware.
